Ecobee Lite was created as a cost-effective alternative to Ecobee 3, designed to offer a simplified set of features suitable for smaller spaces. With a transition from professional installation to a DIY approach, the main challenge was to improve accessibility and reevaluating the overall thermostat architecture. Leveraging Ecobee 3 as a reference, my objective was to define a functional harmony between physical and digital experience, by rethinking the user interface and installation process. Throughout this project, I have designed the hardware, iterated through user testing, prototyping and explored the key aspects of user experience
